Zach Braff’s crowd-funded follow up to indie feature Garden State, ‘Wish I Was Here’, finally has a trailer.
The Scrubs star took to Kickstarter after the Veronica Mars movie was successfully funded the same way following the show’s axing from network television. His Kickstarter campaign raised a total of just over $3.1 million from more than 46 000 donations.
The film stars Zach, but also features Jim ‘Sheldon Cooper’ Parsons of The Big Bang Theory fame; Mandy Patinkin who you may have seen in Criminal Minds and Homeland; Kate Hudson, and Braff’s Scrubs co-star Donald Faison.
The trailer is generally well photographed, with some typical indie style shots but gives little away with regards to plot.
Have a watch:
The film will be released by Focus Features in July.
Does it look any good to you?
